Last couple of months I am learning and working on SEO for my web pages and client’s. And I am sharing same with all of you, hope it will help.

Every website owner knows that half of the total traffic or more comes from popular search engines Google, Yahoo, Bing and other. Today there are millions of websites on the web and to list your web page on top of the other websites; you need to do search engine optimization (SEO).

The ultimate idea is to get the huge traffic for your website, because search engines rank high to those websites who has regular + big number of visitors and having back links.

Basically SEO technique work around to bring more traffic and build back links to your website.

There are many ways to improve your search rankings. Let me list out some more points which can help you to get high page rank on search engines.

1. People love to visit again and again if you have useful and easy system built. Even today, word of mouth advertisement play a big role, people will go to talk about your system only if they find it useful, unique and easy.

2. You should blog about your services and its usefulness. Blogging is a continuous process and it is the best way to add good contents to your website. And yes search engines love fresh and good contents.

3. Read relevant blogs more and leave comment on it, let them know about your services or products. Reading relevant blogs give you an idea about your target audiences. Try to leave your link along with your service details while commenting on blogs, so that they can reach you easily.

4. You can add your profiles on social networking sites or any community you join.

5. Ask blogger to write review about you products or service, nowadays people do read review about products or service before using them actually.

6. You can write articles related to your service or products and publish them on big websites. While reading articles people will come to know about your business, service or product.

7. The last step is that you have to keep in mind the service and purpose of your web site and strictly follow steps to maintain the purpose.

Note: have page title and meta keywords related to your page contents.

I believe above 7 points will help your web pages to list high on search engines and gain potential customers or clients for your business.

We at sisnolabs, recently developed an unique website www.wrapmytourbus.com for Los Angeles (Hollywood) based singer and songwriter RIZ. We have been working with him since 2007.

It has unique and great concept, advertisers will get maximum exposure.

During the project development we also got a chance to do video talk with Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam…it was a great feeling for us at sisnolabs.

And after having some experience as a php programmer, you can go for AJAX, Jquery, SMARTY and some php frameworks like zend, symphony, cakephp.
